Industrial UPS Information
An industrial uninterruptible power supply is a method of supplying emergency power. An uninterruptible power supply is different from a standby generator because these generators do not provide instant protection from momentary power interruptions; however, an uninterruptible power supply can, as its name implies, provide uninterrupted power to equipment, usually for five to fifteen minutes. This allows enough time for standby power to be turned on, utility power to be restored, or data saved and equipment safely shut down.
