Industrial air compressors run air-driven machinery and equipment to do the work more efficiently and Cleveland Brothers can provide award winning energy efficient industrial Sullair air compressors. They are used to build and store internal air pressure in a storage tank and then it is dispersed through a system of high grade piping when needed to operate these machines or equipment. Sullair uses patented rotary screw technology to achieve the appropriate pressure levels within the air storage tank and feed downstream demands.
Rotary screw air compressors are easy to maintain and operate. Capacity control for these compressors is accomplished by variable speed displacement. Variable Speed Drive is the superior alternative to other compressor control systems. Variable Speed Drive provides the flexibility to vary both capacity and pressure. This flexibility makes it possible to “grow” your air system without adding another compressor. Compressed air volume is varied by rotating a spiral valve, which opens and closes by-pass ports in the stator, and returns air to suction rather than compressing it. By matching compressor displacement with output need, this energy-saving system uses up to 17% less power. Other advantages of the rotary screw compressor include smooth, pulse-free air output in a compact size with high output volume over a long life.
